2 more day to a month since i last update my blog.. from the day i'm enlisted till today, throughout all this days or weeks, i had been spending my time in a stupid island called tekong.. its alr been 4 weeks since i am enlisted but onli booked out twice.. haiz..

anyway, jus to sum up stuffs that happened since the day i got in till now..

first day of enlistment, in the morning met up with intsc peeps, so good of them to come to send zen and mi off.. thanks..

leaving pasir ris from the bus headin towards SAF ferry terminal and board the ferry to tekong with my mother and grandma.. we were then separated at tekong and there we have to surrender our pink ic for the 11B.. went into the auditorium and there we were being brief on wat to do lah.. then later all the parents entered the auditorium after they visited the bunk and stuff.. some talk by the bmtc commanding officer then next thing is we reciting the SAF pledge and we are formerly a recruit of Hawk Company.. head out for lunch at the bmtc sch 2 canteen and after that bid farewell to our parents..

as soon as our parent left we were to seat together with all the other recruits then from there we were being called out and separated into our individual platoons.. for mi i'm in platoon 4.. then from there we marched off to our company line and there we collected our individual stuff.. a fieldcamp bag and a big black bag.. proceed off with checking of the stuff in the bags then off to our bunk.. stupid lah, my bunk is located at the topmost lvl which is the 5th floor.. have to carry our civilian bag, fieldcamp bag and the black big bag at one go and climb all the way up to lvl 5.. its realli veri tiring lah..

have alot of admin stuff to do for the first few days lah.. then there are also lots of training & training.. then everyday got to climb the stupid stairs for dunno how many times.. on the 1st 2 night couldn't realli sleep well lah but from then onward we are jus too tired alr.. too exhasted from all the training.. shan't say too much on the training lah but its jus tough lah..

on the 1st week there my knee cap started to feel pain and to a point when walking also pain.. so no choice went to see the MO(medical officer).. he said that is could be slight sprain or something.. can't realli remember lah.. so got medicine and excuse from lower limb for 3 days.. however during the 3 days i still try to participate in watever stuff i can do lah.. however missed out on the 4km road march and the IPPT evaluation cuz our PC(platoon commander) doesn't allow.

on my last day of excuse, there was a first aid test, as our PC did not say anything so i joined in too.. there was a part when we go to do evacuation drill lah.. one is neck drag while another is fireman carry.. dunno is it becuz of that the next day my knee cap pain become worse..

so no choice, went back to see the MO again then got a 1 week excuse from lower limb again but this time i was excused from climbing the stairs during the week so as to let it recover.. but becuz of this i ended up have to miss the 6km road march also.. sian lah..

anyway, we booked out 2 weeks later on a friday night.. it jus feel so good to be back in singapore lah.. when booked out headed back tp to meet up with the intsc peeps then had dinner together.. sat morning went over to beach road to make purchases for the next book in.. the next book in gonna have to stay in tekong for another 2 weeks cuz of the field trip.. after making the purchase then head over to tp again and meet up with lulu then in the evening went over to parkway with one of her friend for pool and there goes my sat.. stayed at home all the way till sun afternoon then time to book in again..

2 weeks of regimentation weeks over and its the start of hell.. now when ever we do something wrong or slow we will get punishment and stuff le.. training jus become tougher then the 1st 2 weeks and everything jus get even more strict.

days and days passes so slowly everyday.. as the days passes by, its friday le.. the day for our 7 days 6 nights camp out in the "jungle"..

we started off with a 8km road march toward our camp site which is a rubber plantation with SBO, fieldpack & rifle which weights about 10kg or more? and when we reached the camp site, the first thing we do is to set up our "tent".. its realli veri tiring lah.. *can't rmb wat we do after that le*

there are alot of combat training lessons being taught to us then got practical test also.. stayed in that plantation for 3 days 2 nights then off we move off to the 2nd campsite, but cuz during the training, somehow got a slight sprain on the left ankle so didn't march with them.. took the tunnel over the 2nd campsite. but when i reach the camp site, we helped to unload all the stuff fromt he tunnel and setting them up in place. when we finished setting up its about to nightfall alr, then those who are marchin arrived.

for the first night we onli lay the ground sheet and sleep on it.. on next morning then we set up the tent again.. as usual, lots of training lessons taught and lots of practical and lots of "knock it down", "everything off", "everything on", "move" & etc lah.. on the 2nd night at the 2nd camp site, we got night navigation also.. got to walk in the pitch dark in silent then when got light stick thrown up to the sky or toward us we got to hide accordingly.. proning on the grass/mud and crawl towards trees to take cover..

on the 5th day, we moved campsite again, another road march toward the next campsite which is a reclaimed land. there was a veri big open ground there where the scenery is somehow quite nice lah.. can gaze up into the sky and all u see is the sky.. however our sleeping area is inside a plantation and sometimes u can see centipides.. for the first night there as usual, sleep on ground sheet itself.

on the 6th day, which the the 2nd last day of the fieldcamp, in the morning we had a combat test where we have to react accordingly when we are being attack by an enemy then while waiting for our turn to do the test, one of our sergent took out his hp and played songs from his hp and put it on a loudspeaker for us to listen.. at that period of time i jus feel so relaxed yet at the same time veri down.. i realli is missing all the time i used to have with everyone.. all the laughter and fun.. i realli is missing everything and everyone.. i guess hardly will there be anyone being able to understand how i felt at that veri moment..

anyway, when it our section turn for the test, it started to rain and we were all drenched lah, but maybe is cuz we are too dirty and tired we jus sat under a tree and chat under the rain(since there no shelter also) . after the test, we had our lunch then we were to dig a 'shellscrape' and a fire trench. the 'shellscrape' is a hole for 1 person to prone in it which looks somehow like a "coffin", while a 'fire trench' is a hole as deep and big enuff for 3 person to stand inside it with.. all i say for that is, ITS D*** F***ING TIRING!!!!!!!! then in the night, we sleep inside the "coffin-like" hole..

finalli the last day of fieldcamp, it ended with a course where we got to leopard crawl and back-crawl for 100m with live round firing above us.. its was said that it a simulation of war time situation but then the live round which was firing above us was like 3m above from the ground lah.. its nothing frightening at all but it the crawling that is tedious.. crawl on the rocky path for the whole 100m.. got abrasion on the elbow cuz of that..

anyway, its realli glad that the fieldcamp is over lah.. oh ya.. forgot to mention that we did not shower thorughout the 7 days, all we do is powder bath with pricky heat.. think u can imagine how stink we are when we are back.. finalli can eat food & snack, bath AND SLEEP ON BED!!!

somehow i guess i have summarize things up le ba..

today is my 2nd book out but kinda sad and disappointing cuz there is nothing to do.. no one to go out with.. feel so stupid lah.. book out but staying at home with no one.. ARGHS!!!!!!

gonna be bookin in again on 060806 @1900... sianz...

next book out gonna be on national day eve evening...
